Frequently Asked Questions
Who can attend UPLIFT?
We invite anyone from Colleton County who is interested in the success of children and schools to attend UPLIFT. You do not have to be a parent. You could be an aunt, uncle, sibling, grandparent, etc. The program is free of charge!
Where is UPLIFT held?
How many workshops can I attend?
Once you complete the registration form for the district sessions you will be placed in 3 of the 6 sessions held at each event. You may attend an unlimited number of sessions at any of our local schools.
I would like to attend, but I have children that I cannot leave at home.
We provide free childcare for school aged children. Childcare will be provided at the same location as UPLIFT. During this time, children will engage in learning and social activities.
Is transportation provided?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide district-wide transportation for this program at this time. If you would like to attend and have transportation issues, please contact your child's school and speak to the parent facilitator. (If you do not have a child at CCSD, please contact Title One at 782-4522). We may be able to arrange transportation through a carpool.
