Involved Parents Make a Difference


One of the best things you can do for your child, and for Team Colleton is to get involved and stay involved! Children who have parents that set rules, maintain them, and attend school events score better on tests, pay more attention in class, and earn more money from working. Every PTO, SIC, or UPLIFT you attend helps lift us all a little higher. Thank you for everything you do.

What is UPLIFT?


UPLIFT is a parent involvement effort led by Colleton County School District's Title One Office.  This effort offers free workshops throughout the year and various resources to helping parents and community members acquire or improve personal, technological, and communications skills that support the academic success of children.

The UPLIFT program is all about partnerships within schools and the the community that support parents as the first and best resource for improving outcomes for our children and our future. Want to teach a session? Click here!
