Parent Volunteers
Parents are always welcome to visit their child's classroom! If you are interested in being a long-term volunteer or chaperone, you must complete the online Volunteer Application, pass a background check, and complete our training course. This procedure is outline by School Board policy and state legislation and is designed to ensure the safety of our students and staff.

Procedure to Become a Volunteer
1. Go to www.colleton.k12.sc.us and complete your online Volunteer Application.
2. Pay the $17.50 background check fee.
3. Attend the Parent Volunteer Training.
Following the training the school will be notified of your status.
4. Begin Volunteering!
